Time to brag, feel free to ignore.

A couple months ago I was already accepted into the W.P. Carey school of business at ASU for economics, but I decided I wanted to push myself a little harder. I collected a bunch of letters of recommendation, filled out an extensive application (took me about a week to complete) and applied to Barrett, the honors college at ASU.

They said there was a 6 - 8 week waiting period till I would know. So the weeks went on and I kept checking my ASU account just to see if I got accepted early. On Monday of this week I called to let them know that I had moved. The guy I talked to said his committee just finished processing the applications for the batch I was in. He transfered me to his secretary for the address change. I I gave her my change of address and I asked if she could look up if I got accepted. She said it hadn't hit the system yet, but it should soon.

So the days went by and I was checking my ASU account at least 6 times a day to see if I was accepted. By the time Wednesday rolled around and I still was listed under the standard Economics program I figured I was denied. However, bright and early Thursday (today) morning I though "what the hell" and checked my ASU account, and I was accepted. Yay!

Then I danced
Amanda was so excited she couldn't help herself and dressed up like little red riding hood.
